Mission Statement
I
have decided to convert my old coin holdings into silver bullion,
specifically American Silver Eagle one ounce bullion coins. The
American Silver Eagle series, with Adolph Weinmann's beautiful
rendering of Liberty Walking has become the most widely collected
silver bullion coin in the world. There are many manufacturers of
bullion products, some are real silver, while others are not. For that
reason,
I am not interested in any other bullion products, only those of the US
Mint, the content of which is guaranteed.
Here's how it works. If you locate a coin or coins that you would like
to have, it's selling price is expressed in ASEs as well as dollars and
cents. The trade value of the Eagle coins will almost always be less
than the dollars and cents price of the coin in my inventory that you
might wish to own. American Silver Eagles are easily obtainable, and I
actually prefer to accept them in trade as opposed to cash. If you do
not have ASEs to trade, the dealers listed at the bottom of this page
will be happy to sell them to you. You can take delivery of the coins
yourself, and then ship them to me, or have the dealer drop ship them
to me. When I receive the ASEs, I will ship your order.
I am interested in uncirculated ASEs rather than proof issues, because
of the storage concerns with the proofs. If they are all you have, I
will accept the proofs in trade, but at no premium. I am trying to get
away from items of major collector interest, and into bullion. The
proof issues are geared more toward (and priced for) the numismatic
market than are the uncirculated issues.
